Rochelle High School Board Approves Staff Changes

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Township High School Board approved several staff changes during its Monday meeting. The board accepted the retirement of registrar Teresa Haggestad, whose last day will be Sept. 11, 2026, and English teacher Brian Worthington, who will retire at the end of the 2028 to 2029 school year. The board also accepted the resignations of boys assistant tennis coach John Michael Loggins and instructional liaison and dance coach Sumayya Staab. New hires approved by the board include Rey Arteaga as boys assistant soccer coach, Rocio Belmonte as registrar, Miguel Cruz and Dominic Molinaro as paraprofessionals, James Hall as girls assistant track coach, Olivia Klein as an English teacher and dance coach, Peter Smart in maintenance, Kim Waters as assistant student council adviser and Javier Zepeda as a part time instructional liaison.
