(Chicago, IL) — The Chicago Cubs are locking down one of their top players. The team signed second baseman Nico Hoerner to a six-year contract extension.
Hoerner is in his eighth season with the Northsiders, and he’s won two Gold Gloves during his time with the team. He hit .297 with seven home runs and 61 RBI’s in 156 games last season.
