Pet of the week: I’m Wrigley! I’m a 6-year-old, 37-pound pup with a big heart, a love for walks, and a talent for rolling in the grass — seriously, it’s one of my favorite things! I’m an easygoing, loyal guy who enjoys adventures just as much as I love a good couch snuggle. I walk nicely on leash, enjoy belly rubs and body scratches, and I’m always ready to share some kisses with my favorite people. I’ve met other dogs here and I like making new friends — I just take my time warming up. Once I feel comfortable, I love to play chase and show off my silly side.
I’m good with older kids, and I’ve even lived with cats before! I do get a quite nervous around men, so I’d do best in a calm, patient home that understands I just need a little extra space and time to build trust. If you’re looking for a sweet, medium-sized companion who will love you unconditionally and always be up for a walk or a snuggle, I think we’d make a great team.
