ST CHARLES – A 23-year-old daycare teacher from Sycamore is accused of giving children chewable laxatives. Police say multiple parents informed them last week that their children were given the laxatives at a day care facility in the 2400 block of West Main Street in St. Charles. Investigators determined that there were three victims, ages two-years or younger. An employee identified as Yizel Juarez of Sycamore was arrested on multiple charges, including attempted aggravated battery.
