Stillman Valley Break In Leads to Two Arrests

STILLMAN VALLEY — Two Rockford residents were arrested early Monday after a reported home invasion and battery in the 100 block of East Wilson Street in Stillman Valley. Following an investigation by the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, they arrested 19-year-old Jayla M.S. Turner on charges of aggravated battery, battery, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to residence, home invasion, mob action, and endangering the life or health of a child. Also taken into custody was 20-year-old Latrell D Williams, who was charged with aggravated battery, battery, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to residence, home invasion, and mob action. Both were taken to the Ogle County Jail pending a pretrial release hearing.
