Stillman Valley Board Approves Tobacco Sales Special Use Permit Rule

STILLMAN VALLEY — The Stillman Valley Village Board approved an ordinance Monday night that changes how tobacco sales are regulated in the village. They now reclassify tobacco sales as a special use permit in general business districts. The change means tobacco sales will no longer be automatically allowed and will require a public hearing and approval from the village board for each new location. The measure also updates village code definitions to add tobacco sales shop and tobacco sales under the general business district regulations.
