Rockford Woman Hurt in Monroe Center Two-Vehicle Crash

MONROE CENTER — A Rockford woman was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon with minor injuries after her car was struck while allegedly attempting a U-turn at the intersection of Illinois Route 72 and North Limestone Road. The vehicle she was driving collided with a pickup operated by a 63-year-old Monroe Center man. The woman was cited for improper lane usage. Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene with assistance from Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire/EMS and Monroe Center Fire/EMS.
