Rochelle Names New City Manager

ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle has selected Zeke Jackson as its next city manager, with a start date of June 8. Jackson most recently served in local government roles in Sister Bay and Waterford, Wisconsin, and has a background in public administration and economic development. He holds a political science degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Public Administration from Wayland Baptist University, and is a credentialed ICMA city manager. City officials said Jackson brings experience in community growth and development. He will relocate to Rochelle with his family. The city also thanked Interim City Manager Sam Tesreau for his leadership during the transition. Tesreau will remain in that role until Jackson begins and will then continue as city engineer.
