POPLAR GROVE — The former Poplar Grove Village President is pleading to two criminal charges. Donald Sattler entered a guilty plea to disorderly conduct in Boone County court. That charge stems from a verbal confrontation between Sattler and Trustee Jeff Goings during a public meeting in July 2024. Sattler also pleaded guilty to attempted computer tampering of a village phone as part of a 2025 case. He was sentenced to 12 months court supervision.
