POLO — Polo defeated Forreston 11 to 9 in girls softball action Thursday. In the IHSA boys basketball finals, Kaneland takes its perfect season into a Class 3A semifinal matchup against Deerfield tonight, with the winner advancing to the state championship game against either Chicago Leo or East St. Louis. In Class 4A, Lisle Benet Academy faces Chicago DePaul College Prep this afternoon, while in Class 2A Lanark fell to Lawrenceville 61 to 43 in the third place game.
