Oregon Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop in DeKalb County

SYCAMORE – DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 44-year-old Oregon man early Saturday after he allegedly fled from a vehicle and left on foot during a domestic-related call. Around 6 a.m., deputies, assisted by Hinckley, Sandwich, and Sycamore police, responded to Perry Road near Chase Road for a possible domestic incident involving a knife. The driver, later identified as Brian A. Rosenbalm of Oregon, left the scene on foot. After a K9 search and drone assistance, Rosenbalm was located and arrested for outstanding warrants, DUI (A2), and driving while license revoked. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
