Stillman Valley High School will have a new head football coach next fall.
Hall of Fame Coach Mike Lalor has resigned after 28 seasons on the sidelines as head coach for the Cardinals.
Lalor had a record of (223-88) which included 5 state championships. He has been in the Stillman Valley program since 1994.
Lalor informed the players his decision Wednesday afternoon.
He said it was time to make a change in the program. Lalor also said he would like to coach again in the future in the right situation for him and his family.
Lalor had 21 playoffs teams at Stillman Valley. He plans to teach 1 more year at the Junior High.
