CRESTON — A Byron man was arrested early March 26th after deputies allegedly found him asleep in a running vehicle in the 300 block of Woodlawn Road in Creston. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said deputies made contact with 28-year-old Cole White around 3 a.m. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a concealed firearm while under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail and later released with a notice to appear.
