GENOA — DeKalb County Sheriff Deputies and Genoa police responded to a single vehicle crash around 1:50 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Road and Genoa Road. Authorities said a vehicle traveling north on Pleasant Hill Road allegedly slid through the intersection and entered a ditch before coming to rest in a field. Deputies said the juvenile driver did not have a valid driver license and was operating an uninsured vehicle. The driver was cited and taken to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital for undisclosed injuries.
