Illinois will have a light workout on Friday prior to their semi-final game on Saturday against UConn in the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis.
The Illini comes into the game with a (28-8) record following their win last Saturday against Houston.
It is their 6th trip to the Final 4.
UConn has a record of (33-5). They are in the Final 4 for the third time in the past 4 years.
This is the second game between the 2 teams this season. UConn beat Illinois on November 28th 74-61 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The other semi-final game has Michigan taking on Arizona.
