House Fire Displaces Lindenwood Family

LINDENWOOD – A basement fire heavily damaged a residential building in rural Lindenwood on Sunday afternoon. The Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Department responded to the two story brick home on West Route 64 after the homeowner reported the blaze. Over a dozen fire departments assisted at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading further through the structure. Three residents were displaced by the damage and the home is currently considered uninhabitable. No injuries were reported during the incident and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, but authorities do not consider the fire suspicious.
