Hillcrest Collecting Gifts for Liberty Village Residents

HILLCREST — The Village of Hillcrest is collecting donated gifts and monetary contributions to support residents of Liberty Village Nursing and Rehab Center, with items accepted through December 20 at Hillcrest Village Hall, 204 Hillcrest Avenue. Suggested donations include lap blankets, slip proof socks, sweaters in sizes M to 2XL, large print word search books, coloring books with colored pencils, puzzles with 300 pieces or fewer, wooden puzzles, mini cans of soda, plastic or acrylic tumblers, squishmallows, new release DVDs from 2020 or later, and plastic shower caddies. Monetary donations may be left in an envelope with the Village Clerk and checks should be made payable to the Village of Hillcrest. All items will be wrapped and delivered to Liberty Village to help spread holiday cheer.
