    Glidden Homestead to Present Cook Mansion Preservation Lecture

    DEKALB — The J.F. Glidden Homestead & Historical Center will present “Preserving Cook Mansion: A Journey to the National Register” on Sunday, February 8, as part of its 2026 Soup-er Sundays winter lecture series. The program begins at 12 p.m. and includes complimentary soup and guided tours. Admission is five dollars and free for members. Homeowners Rob and Linda Srygler will discuss their efforts to preserve Cook Mansion and secure its place on the National Register of Historic Places. The homestead is open Sundays from 12 to 4 p.m.
