Glidden Homestead to Host Sweet Life Garden Lecture

DEKALB — The J.F. Glidden Homestead & Historical Center will host “Cultivating Community: The Roots of Sweet Life Garden Group” on Sunday, March 22, as part of its 2026 Soup-er Sundays winter lecture series. The program begins at 12 p.m. and includes complimentary soup and guided tours. Admission is five dollars and free for members. Lori Brown, founder of the Sweet Life Garden Group, will present on the origins and community impact of the organization. The homestead is open Sundays from 12 to 4 p.m.
