Emergency Exercise Tuesday At Byron Nuclear Generating Station

SPRINGFIELD — An emergency response exercise at the Byron Nuclear Generating Station is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security will coordinate with Ogle County, Winnebago County, and Constellation personnel, with the Federal Emergency Management Agency evaluating the drill. Preliminary findings will be shared Friday at 11 a.m. at the Ogle County Emergency Operation Center in Rochelle.
