Cubs Beat The Braves 2-0

(Atlanta, GA) — The Cubs avoided a sweep with a 2-0 road win over the Braves. Ian Happ led Chicago’s attack, going two-for-three with his 10th home run of the season. Hoby Milner picked up the win in relief and Daniel Palencia secured his third save of the season. The Cubs snapped a four-game skid to improve to 28-and-16 this season.
Atlanta collected just five hits and went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. Chris Sale allowed an unearned run over six innings, getting the loss. The Braves had their four-game winning streak ended to drop to 30-and-14 on the year.
The Cubs will be at Rate Field Friday night against the White Sox.
