Colorado Clinches A Playoff Spot Following A 4-1 Win Over The Blackhawks

The Colorado Avalanche became the first NHL team to clinch a playoff spot this season following a 4-1 win Friday night over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Colorado was led by Martin Necas who had a goal and 2 assists and Nathan MacKinnon who had 3 assists.

The Avalanche are now (45-13-10) for the season.

Wyatt Kaiser had the only goal for the Blackhawks. Arvid Sonderblom had 45 saves.

Chicago returns to the United Center on Sunday afternoon against the Nashville Predators.
