Cardinals Score 5 Runs in the 8th Inning Giving Them an 8-6 Win Over the Cubs

A 5-run 8th inning Saturday at Wrigley Field gave the St. Louis Cardinals an 8-6 win over the Chicago Cubs.

Yohel Pozo came up with a pinch-hit 3-run home run for the Cardinals. Alec Burleson also had a solo shot in the inning as he had 3 hits in the game.

Nolan Gorman also had a home run for St. Louis.

Steven Matz picked up the win in relief.

Michael Busch led the Cubs with 3 hits which included a solo home run. He has 4 home runs in the series.

Carson Kelly also went deep for Chicago. Brad Keller took the loss in relief as he gave up the 5 runs in the 8th inning.

The rubber game in the series is Sunday evening at Wrigley Field.
