Creston Woman Sentenced to Five Years in Prison for 2022 DUI Crash

OREGON — A 47-year-old Creston woman was sentenced to five years in prison for a June 2022 DUI crash that killed a 61-year-old Addison man. Amy M. Anthenat, who pleaded guilty in October 2025 to aggravated driving under the influence of drugs resulting in great bodily harm, must serve 85% of her sentence. Authorities said Anthenat was driving north on Mulford Road at Illinois Route 64 when her pickup truck collided with a motorcycle driven by Richard Andrews, who later died at a nearby hospital. Investigators found that Anthenat had cocaine in her system at the time of the crash. She is scheduled to report to the Illinois Department of Corrections next month.
