OREGON — Two Oregon men were charged following the execution of a search warrant Monday morning by the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit. Authorities said deputies conducted the warrant at about 6 a.m. in the 900 block of North Etnyre Terrace. Kaine Portner, 31, was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, a Class X felony; possession with intent to deliver cannabis, a Class 1 felony; and possession with intent to deliver alprazolam, a Class 3 felony. Portner was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where he was being held pending a court appearance. Dayvon Yarbrough, 34, was charged with possession of psilocybin, a Class 4 felony. Yarbrough was issued a notice to appear and was transported to the Lee County Jail on an outstanding warrant. The investigation involved assistance from the Ogle County Detective Bureau, Ogle County Emergency Response Team, the Drug Enforcement Administration, MercyHealth MD1, Northwest Illinois Critical Incident Response Team and the Oregon Fire Department.
