The Cubs Scored 4 Runs In The 9th Inning And Beat The A’s 7-6

The Chicago Cubs scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning Thursday night and beat the A’s 7-6.

Chicago snapped an 8-game losing streak at Wrigley Field with the win.

Pete Crow-Armstrong singled in the winning run for the Cubs. He also had a solo home run in the game.

Ian Happ hit a 2-run home run for Chicago. Ryan Rollson got the win in relief as Chicago prevented a 3-game sweep by the A’s.

The A’s hit 4 home runs in the game, 2 by Shea Langeliers.

The Cubs open up a series Friday afernoon at Wrigley Field against the San Francisco Giants.
