Crawford Foundation to Host Family Bingo Night in Rochelle

ROCHELLE — The Crawford Foundation will host a free Family Bingo Night on May 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lincoln School in Rochelle, with donations accepted to support classroom materials and student learning opportunities. The event is open to families and is intended to raise funds that benefit the foundation’s ongoing support of Rochelle Elementary District students and staff. Officials said the Crawford Foundation has supported local schools for 32 years, providing between $5,000 and $10,000 annually in teacher grants for learning materials and activities. Past contributions have included funding for district band instruments, mobile computer labs, and classroom libraries. Organizers said all donations collected during the event will go directly toward programs that enhance educational experiences for students and staff.
