OREGON — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will host a blood drive on Monday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rock River Center, 810 S. 10th Street in Oregon.
“Donating blood is one of the simplest ways to directly help someone in your own community, and we depend on consistent donors to keep supplies stable,” said Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist for the Rock River Valley Blood Center.
RRVBC supplies the total blood needs for 14 area hospitals and depends on regular donor support to meet weekly targets. Appointments are encouraged at RRVBC.org and donors should bring a photo ID.
