WBC Quarterfinals Preview

HOUSTON  —  The World Baseball Classic has reached the knockout stage.  The quarterfinal round will be played Friday and Saturday in Houston and Miami.  Tonight, the Dominican Republic and Korea will face off before a matchup between the United States and Canada.  Tomorrow, Italy will try to continue its impressive run against Puerto Rico ahead of a clash between Japan and Venezuela.  The winners of each day’s games will face off in the semifinals on Sunday and Monday.
