Hinckley Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

HINCKLEY – A 54-year-old Hinckley woman was killed Saturday morning when her car rolled over near the intersection of Somonauk and McGirr roads. Deputies from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office responded around 4:07 a.m. and found Jennifer L. Rogers outside a passenger vehicle in a nearby field. She was the sole occupant and was wearing a seatbelt. Deputies and the Hinckley Fire Department performed lifesaving measures, but Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
