BOSTON – A 26-year-old Oswego man pleaded guilty in federal court to phishing Snapchat access codes from nearly 600 women to hack their accounts and steal nude photos, which he kept, sold, or traded online. Kyle Svara admitted to computer fraud, wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and related charges. Prosecutors said he targeted victims nationwide, including in Plainfield, Illinois, and students at Colby College, Maine, and was hired by former Northeastern University coach Steve Waithe to hack women he coached. Svara is scheduled for sentencing on May 18.
