OREGON — A 29-year-old Rochelle man has been sentenced to 572 days in jail followed by 30 months of probation for violating the sex offender registry. Timothy O’Dell was arrested in March 2025 for soliciting a minor. The case was paused while he received mental health treatment. He was later found competent to stand trial on charges including indecent solicitation of a child over the internet and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. In December, O’Dell pled guilty to a 2024 registry violation, and the additional charges were dismissed.
