Dansby Swanson had a 2-run home run in the second inning for Chicago. Matt Shaw also had a 2-run triple.

Pete Crow-Armstrong hit a solo home run in the 4th inning.

Javier Assad pitched into the 5th inning for his 5th win this season.

Colorado had 4 home runs in the game. 2 were hit by Sterlin Thompson.

The Cubs open up a series at home on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
